Dear families,
Sorry this email is a day later than planned - I managed 12,000 steps at school yesterday, which tells you how much chance I had to get emails out!
Next term is small but mighty! We have just five weeks plus two bank holidays to whizz through a really important week for our children's learning.
A lovely announcement for you all - Mrs Brooker's new baby boy arrived safely and the whole family are doing very well. We can't wait to meet him soon.
Hopefully you noticed in Mrs Styles's email that she is running the London Marathon in aid of the Paul Church treatment fund! She has been training so hard and we are immensely proud of her. Please do donate as it will help to motivate her for the last few long runs of her training plan and help an amazing family at the heart of our community: https://www.gofundme.com/f/9zmj4-paul-church
I want to extend an enormous thank you to the team for their work over the last term. They have worked tirelessly to give the best education and experience possible for your children and it really shows in their amazing reports and excellent progress. We still have a whole third of the year to go and I cannot wait to see what is possible! Thanks also to our amazing families and children, who have worked so hard and been such an inspiration.
I will email again at the start of term with the weekly overview, but don't forget the first day back is our Creepy Claws visit - long awaited following School Council's request, we have a combination of cute and cuddly animals (perfect time of year to see the baby animals!) and a few reptiles that were specially requested by class 1.
Have a truly wonderful couple of weeks away. We will of course miss our amazing children over this time and very much look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday 22nd April.
Best wishes,
Dr Crowther
