Wraparound Provision
Cobham Primary School aims to create a safe, positive, happy and active environment at the Breakfast
and Afterschool Club Provision. We want children to feel relaxed and safe, to be able to play, be active
and make friends with children in other year groups, and have fun in a well-supervised environment. We
welcome and appreciate all feedback from children and parents about their experience with the clubs
and are always keen to hear suggestions about how to improve so please feel free to get in touch!
Please note that parents will be required to book and pay for breakfast club and after school care at least 7 days in advance.
Wraparound Care has its own phone number, 07442512903. This number can be used between 8am - 8:20am and 3:30pm - 5:30pm.
Breakfast Club
Breakfast club starts at 7.30am during term time and children can be dropped off between 7:30am - 8:00am. The choice of breakfast may vary from day to day but will consist of healthy options, usually including the following: cereals, toast, crumpets, fruit, milk, fruit juice or water. Breakfast club staff will supervise a variety of indoor and outdoor activities until the start of school.
We aim to provide a high-quality service which meets the needs of both parents/carers and children.
For parents/carers, this means knowing that your child is safe and happy in a club that is reliable and
offers a consistent service. Our school’s values and behaviour expectations are the same at Breakfast
Club as they are during the school day.
Children will take part in indoor and outdoor play and be encouraged to get out into the fresh air
wherever possible. We also have quiet reading area and sensory activities available.
After School Care
After School Provision will run Monday to Thursday from 3.20pm to 5:30pm, during term time. It will not
operate in school holidays or on INSET Days.
The after school routine is as follows:
● 3.40pm - Play (outdoors wherever possible)
● 4.20pm - Wash hands and prepare light tea together
● 4.30pm - Light meal
● 5pm-5:30pm - Indoor games, homework support and reading (children can use iPads to complete
TTRS, Numbots and Atom homework and we will support 1:1 reading).
Collection from after school club will be at two specific times, when we will bring children to the front gate, these are 4:20pm and 5:30pm. Parents collecting after 5:30pm will incur an additional charge of £1 per minute late and if parents are consistently late they may be barred from using this service.
