Dearest families,
A very Happy New Year is wished to you all! I hope everyone had the break that they deserved. Thank you for my incredibly generous gifts and cards. Too kind!
We cannot wait to welcome back the children tomorrow!
This Friday the PTA have organised and paid for an amazing experience for all the classes. A mobile planetarium will arrive at the Meadow Rooms (which has kindly allowed us to use their space for free during the day) so that the children can be fully immersed in the ‘World of Space!’ What a great way to start the term!
Here are more key dates below for your diaries! We have spread the ‘Stay and Read’ sessions over a few days to help limit the parking problems in recent times!
Friday 5th January – Wonderdome Workshops for whole school at the Meadow Rooms!
Monday 8th January – Clubs start this week!
Tuesday 9th January – Reception Forest School sessions begin!
Year 4 Carroty Wood Parent Meeting 2.30pm
Thursday 11th January – Lego Afternoon
Friday 12th January – Swimming sessions begin for Year 6
Tuesday 16th January – First Aid Training for Year 6
Year 3, 4 and 5 Stay and Read session 2.30pm
Wednesday 17th January – Year R and 6 Stay and Read sessions 2.30pm
Thursday 18th January- Year 5 Bikeability
Year 1 and 2 Stay and Read session 2.30pm
Friday 19th January - Year 5 Bikeability
No Writing Day!
Monday 22nd January – Maths Week begins!
Thursday 1st February – Talent Afternoon in classes!
Friday 2nd February – Poetry Reading Day!
Monday 5th February – Family learning session – Exploring Behaviour session
Wednesday 7th February to Friday 9th – Year 4 to Carrotty Wood
Friday 9th February – Best Poems in assembly!
Final day of term 3!
