Dearest families,

Hope everyone had a good break!

It is my absolute delight to welcome back Mrs Brooker and Ms Serantes to the team. They have been working in school the last couple of weeks, but they are officially now back with us from today! Great to have them both! Our amazing Mrs Dengate will be leaving us in a few weeks to have bubba number 3. We wish her all the love in the world, as her gorgeous family look forward to welcoming a new addition.

We will be asking you this term to contribute to the cost of the ‘Jungle Book’ performance (£3 via gateway!), as well as a chocolate donation towards our Easter hampers this year. I cannot thank you enough for all the support that you have given to us so far in contributions and donations. They really do help when making decisions about whether we can afford some of the enrichment activities that the children love. The Kurling Workshops, which are something new that I know that the children will love, will be paid for with our Sports Premium Funding.

Some of our more local families may know that there is a discussion regarding the possible closure of the public toilets near the car park. If you would like to express your views regarding this facility, then please do by emailing clerk@cobham-kent-pc.gov.uk

Also this term, you as parents (77 families) completed the Ofsted Parent View Survey, the children completed a Pupil Survey and the team completed a Staff Survey. Here are the results, which may be of interest to you! I am incredibly proud of them all and any areas where we have scored ‘lower’ than expected will be scrutinised and addressed.

Here’s to a great term!
Many thanks,
Jacqui Saunders
